My little Cheerleader

Here's Hailey all decked out in her Cheer leading outfit! She looks soooo stink'in cute

Here is Hailey at her first game. The girls have been working so hard on their routines.
We didn't know what to expect at the first game. The girls stood at the side line and cheered the flag football team on. Every once in a while they did their little cheers, but Hailey kept looking over at me and would ask why they were just standing there.
Oh well, shes not to impressed at the games.......but darn it she just looks sooooo cute just standing there I could just eat her up.

Olivia's 7th Birthday

Today is Olivia's 7th Birthday!
Awwwh.......how the time flies by.
Auntie and Uncle Brian came down from Utah to visit over the Labor day weekend. It happened to be the same weekend of Olivia's birthday, so she was pretty excited.
Olivia wanted to start the day off by going to see G-force at the movies. She was so excited to have the whole family join us.
When the movie was over, we headed off to Grandma and Grandpas house for lunch and presents. We had a big surprise waiting over there for her.
Olivia has been asking and asking for a hamster, so we wanted to make her think she wasn't going to get one.
Here she is opening up some of her presents......all of which were clothes and shoes
She was excited to be getting clothes for her birthday, but as we handed her the last gift, you could see the disappointment on her face when she realized it was a pair of shoes.
Here she is being a good sport.
I couldn't take it any longer.......I was so excited to give her the real last gift.
I brought in the Hamster cage and her face lit up, she knew what it was.
I think it is so much fun when you can give your kids exactly what they want and see how excited they get.

Olivia and Hailey were in complete AWH, they just sat there for a long time watching.

Here is Olivia and her Hamster Fluffy

After all the excitement had calmed down we ate a Cookies and Cream Ice Cream cake from Dairy Queen......Olivia's favorite.
Or should I say my dads favorite. Hes on a diet and that cake must have tasted really good because he scarfed up a quarter of that cake all on his own. Oink Oink Dad!!!!:)

Happy Birthday Big Girl!!!!!
We LOVE you so much.

Ward Campout

Its time for the ward campout again and I was determined to go this year.
Alex had to take time off of work for his radiation treatment so I knew if we were going I was going to have to do it on my own. The kids have never been camping before and were very much looking forward to it.
I'm bummed because somewhere between driving home from the camp ground and home I lost my camera so I have no pictures to share. They were just a bunch a pictures of dirty kids and pine trees that I miss so much.
I followed the Spencer family up the the camp ground a day early and got camp all set up. It was so peaceful and quiet. the camp ground was empty so it was nice to let the kids run around, scream and holler without worrying they were disturbing anyone. A little up the mountain side the kids found a little fort and spent a lot of time playing up there.
The next day the rest of the ward showed up, the kids played card games, ran around & roasted marshmallows. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to do it again next year.

First Day of School (WOO HOO!!!!)

Schools back in session and I can hardly contain my excitement!.......Don't get me wrong or anything, I LOVE having my girls around but I also enjoy the peace and quiet in the home while they are gone. I almost don't know what to do with half my kiddos gone. I'm sure the boys and I will adjust real soon.
Here's the girls all ready for their first day back at school.Almost to the school.
Here's Hailey standing in front of her class. She couldn't wait to start kindergarten. She was most excited that she was going to eat lunch at school. The most simplest things seem to please her. What a cutie.
We ended up leaving Olivia crying in her class line. She was less than thrilled to be starting 2nd grade. She is defiantly a creature of habit and didn't want to start a new school year with a new teacher and new class mates. But I do have to say its been a week and she is adjusting well. At least I don't leave her crying in line anymore.

Makutu's Island

This was our last playgroup outing before school starts. We ended up at Makutu's Island. We went to this place last summer and my girls have talked about it since then. So they were pretty excited when they found out we were going again.
Its a pretty cool place, once you let your kids loose don't plan on seeing them for awhile. My kids enjoyed the tree house with the zip line most.
Us moms spent most of our time in the little kiddie area with the little ones. Ky was pretty daring and started climbing up the ramp and then sliding down the little slide all on his own.
Ky proud of his new trick!
This is Austin and Wrigley with there cheese faces. They were making some cute little poses but my camera is on the slow side and I missed most of them.
Here's the girls and Porter in one of the towers. I got pictures of them going on the zip line but they all came out dark:(

Family Home Evening

Thanks to the Dababneh family for letting us join you for family home evening. We went to the visitors center and saw the Joseph Smith Movie. We were all under the impression it was a
15 minute show that ended up being an hour and 15 minutes..... Not the best show to be showing 8 children all under the age of 7. But..... Olivia who I fight with when it comes to church was really receptive to the film and was full of questions afterward so I took it as a good teaching moment.
Afterwards we went out for some yummy ice cream. We had a good time. Our cute little Families! Its funny how all of our kids are about the exact same age.
Olivia had mosquito bites all over her legs, so she was having a hard time putting on a smile. This is what we got when we told her to fake it.
This is how all of our family pictures seem to turn out!!!!

Totally Wicked

What a fun girls night!!!! a group of us went to see Wicked.
We first started the night off at The Cheesecake Factory and had some yummy food. But everyone knows you can't leave without a piece of Cheesecake. We were running a little late so we all got our Cheesecake to go. We consealed it in purses and figured we would eat it during the play.
When we got to the Play everyone was seated and the play had begun, it was fine because we hadn't missed much, but our seats were 1st row balcony, dead center. There were 10 of us trying to climb over the top of about 25 people to get to our seats. I was praying at the same time I didn't trip because it was a long way down and not much of a rail to keep me from going over. It was great once we were seated. What a fun play.
At intermission when the lights went on, we busted out our cheesecakes to devour them. I was hoping I wouldn't make eye contact with anyone I had climbed over earlier.
It was a great play.... I would totally see it again. We had such a fun night. I haven't laughed so much.
